Tom Heide, CEO
Tom has been a successful entrepreneur and senior advisor for more than 25 years. Through Heide & Co. he has provided senior management and operating advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses in all lifecycle phases. Prior to this, Tom was President and CEO of SAFE, Inc., an information technology company he founded and grew through mergers and acquisitions and then successfully sold to the Iron Mountain Group. Tom also served as Director of Henry Heide, Inc., a national confectionery company that he was instrumental in selling to Hershey Foods Corporation. Tom also founded Financial Marketing Services, Inc., a national consulting and marketing distribution company in the financial services industry that he ultimately sold, and he has held several senior sales and management positions with Fortune 1000 companies. He holds an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and an M.B.A. with Honors from Adelphi University, and he currently serves on the boards of several companies.

Walter Allen, Principal
Walter's career has spanned management consulting, private equity funding and general management. Prior to joining Heide, he was a partner with Vested Capital Partners. From 1995 to 1997 he was Principal of A.T.Kearney's Financial Institutions Group. In 1993 he founded Athena Venture Advisors, a firm dedicated to assisting clients on their strategic, operational and financial challenges. Walter began his consulting career in 1985 at Bain & Company, where he developed and implemented strategic initiatives in healthcare and manufacturing. In 1986 he worked for Bain Capital LLC, a private-equity firm where he held due-diligence and business-development positions. He has served in a range of industries, including consumer products, healthcare, food products, financial services, IT and government contract services. He has advised on capital raises, M&A, organization design, business-process improvement, strategic planning and business development. Walter earned his B.A. from Washington University and his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Pravina Raghavan, Principal
Pravina has more than 12 years experience in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors and has completed more than 100 M&A transactions. Her experience and knowledge are primarily in wireless and broadband communications, the Internet, e-commerce, traditional telecoms, application services providers, managed services and software. Previously, Pravina was an associate at Broadview International in London, and before that she was with AT&T for seven years, holding several positions in finance and management. During her last five years with AT&T, she was the M&A director for Europe. She has advised companies on strategy, raising capital, mergers and acquisitions, divestures, outsourcing, joint ventures, partnerships and international development. Pravina has a B.S. in Finance from Penn State and an M.B.A. from Seton Hall. She has worked in more than 15 countries and is familiar with five languages.
